You can now report such sharp practices directly to the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
How to report Fuel Scarcity in your area
There are two ways to report fuel situation in your area in to report unethical behavior by marketers and filling stations.
- On twitter, use the hashtag #fuelsituation by including your location
- By calling any of the nearest DPR zonal office close to your state.

@akinoladehinde : #fuelsituation This is to report that at about 11am this morning, 6 filling stations -NNPC, Oando, Total, Conoil, etc. were selling fuel at normal price -145 between Abule Egba and Sango toll gate, along Lagos-Abeokuta expressway. There are no queues in most of them.

@olusojisamuel18: The fuel scarcity continues around the Ilorin metro, Kwara state. For all I know, few stations, including one NNPC’s & Bovas’ have the commodity with crowded queues. One particular filling station around Egbejila area of Ilorin sells at N250/ltr #fuelsituation
