Suleiman Abba, former Nigeria Police boss, picks senatorial forms

Former Nigeria’s Police boss, Suleiman Abba, has picked a nomination and expression of interest forms for Jigawa State central senatorial district under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Abba picked his senatorial ambition form at the National Secretariat of the APC in Abuja on Monday.

Suleiman Abba recently became active since his sack as Inspector General of Police by former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.

He recently alleged that he was coerced to deliver Osun State to PDP when he was in office in an interview with Daily Trust .

Suleiman Abba was the 17th Inspector General of Nigerian Police, coming into offices on August 1, 2014 as the acting IGP.

And he was confirmed as substantive IGP on November 4, 2014.

Abba was at time a Commissioner of Police in Lagos and Rivers States and one time Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Abuja.
