N-power Agro Hunger Fighters will be launched September 17, 2018 by a non-government organisation ProtectOzone.
The initiative has got the endorsement of the FG-powered youth empowerment programme, N-power.
The 25 Npower Agro Hunger Fighters are drawn from the 2016 batch of the programme.
According to ProtectOzone, “These active citizens will be joining us to fight hunger, poverty and pollution at the grassroots.”
According to ProtectOzone, its activities aren’t in Nigeria alone, but also in Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, and Togo
What is ProtectOzone?
It has also been at at forefront of campaigning against hunger and other empowerment programmes geared towards reducing hunger and poverty.
Some of its recent activities Agric4ST project, School farms to improve malnutrition, fragile zone demonstration farms and 5,000 trees, which it aims to achieve by the end of 2018.
Currently it is opening of 1,000 household farms across Nigeria, and we at infomediaNG hopes to see the newly inducted 25 N-power Agro Hunger Fighters help the organisation in achieving its mission.
