Best Universities in Nigeria has been released by the The Higher Education (THE).

This latest world university rankings is done by The Times Higher Education (THE).

Covenant University (601–800)
We’re not surprised that Covenant University, Otta, Ogun State, Nigeria, made THE latest 2019 World University Rankings, and ranked as the best Nigerian university for 2019.
Covenant University is a private institution founded by Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church.
Founded in 2002, Covenant University is one of the leading universities in Africa.
Critics of the church have opposed the tuition fees of the institution since its inception, but we’ve seen that the management of the school is showing result for what critics have called “exorbitant tuition fees.”

Popularly called Premier institution, University of Ibadan (UI) is first university to be established in Nigeria and it is rated to be the best Nigerian university for 2019 by THE World University Rankings.
It started as an affiliated College of the University of London, it was granted full independent status in 1962.

- Public Health and Dentistry.
UI’s Postgraduate School is rated to be the largest in Africa, with its undergraduate and postgraduate student population split 50/50.

UNN in THE latest University World Rankings rates University of Nigeria as the third best Nigerian university.
UNN is one of the federal universities sited in Nsuka, Enugu State, Nigeria.
It was established by Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nigeria’s first ceremonial President from 1963 to 1966) in 1955 and formally opened in 1960.
UNN has 102 academic departments with 15 faculties and offers 82 undergraduate programmes and 211 postgraduate programmes for a student population over 36,000.
The latest 2019 Best Universities in Nigeria was released by The Higher Education, and audited by professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), making the 2019 World University rankings the only global university rankings to be subjected to full, independent scrutiny.
