With several immigration options for people around the world to gain entry to Canada, the country’s population is growing, according to the latest report.
A Financial Post report revealed that Canada’s population increased by more than 500,000 in the past year, totaling 37 million.
The surge in the has been attributed to the influx of new migrants coming into the country.

According to Statistics Canada, the country increased by 1.4% in more than six decades.
The 518,588 increase came through permanent residents immigrating through economic and family sponsorship, as well as those who have been entering Canada to work and study.
