UPDATE: Virtually all the volunteers have been paid except those who have issue with their banking details as a result of marriage or change of name.
The job initiative managers said 150, 000 N-power beneficiaries in the 2017 batch have been paid, while another 50, 000 beneficiaries are being processed for payment.
'They’ll receive alerts, before the end of this week,Click To Tweet “NPower tweeted Wednesday.
There are 300, 000 volunteers in the the 2017 batch of the programme. While some have received salaries for the months of August and September (N60, 000), some are yet to receive any.
But the delay in payment can be attributed to some N-power state focal persons who failed to forward deployment schedule in their various states to Abuja.
We have paid 150k people. We have also sent another 50k in, so some others will receive alerts this week. https://t.co/1wOqnPVC7V
