Nigeria Police Constable Recruitment portal is now available at nigeriapolicecareers.net/ for interested Nigerian applicants to register. In this post we’ll guide you how to submit your application hitch-free.

Requirements for 2018 Nigeria Police Constable Recruitment
- Chest Measurement
- Physical features
- Pregnancy status
- Financial status
- Guarantors form
Applicants must meet the following general recruitment:
Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
Must possess Nigeria’s National Identity Number (NIN)
Must not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years
Must have at least five credit passes (including English Language, Maths) in O’Level which must not be more than two sittings
Must not have been convicted of any criminal offence
Must be of good character
Applicant must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men and women should be at least 1.64 meters tall
Chest measurement of 34 inches is only for men
Must not be pregnant (for women)
Must have a functional E-mail
Must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment
To apply you must not have any of the following “physical challenges:”
- Protruding navel
- Gross malformation of teeth
- Amputation of any part of the body
- Defective eyesight or squint eyes
- Bent knees
- Bow legs
- Bodily scar
- Speech impediment
- Deformed hands
- Flat feet
- Knock knees
Applicant must download and fill the guarantor’s form. Two references from any of the following:
- Traditional rulers
- Chairman of Local Government
- Heads of institution the applicant attended
- Civil servant not below Grade Level 12
- Police officer not below rank of CSP or Military officer not below the rank Lieutenant Colonel
- Possession of a valid National drivers’ license is an added advantage.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page using the “here to apply” which takes you the application form page at http://nigeriapolicecareers.net/apply.php
Step 3: Fill the following details:
- State of Origin
- National Identity Number (NIN)
- Local Government Area
- Marital Status
- Geopolitical zone
- First Name
- Other Names
- Date of Birth
- Phone numbers
- Email address
- Permanent Home Address
- Present Residential Address
- Language(s) Spoken
Documents to upload: Get ready the following documents for uploads: Birth Certificate/Declaration (not more than 50kb), Secondary School Result (not more than 50kb), Attach Passport (not more than 10kb)
Step 4: Move to section B to fill Certificate(s) Obtained: The following are allowed: GCE O’ LEVEL, WAEC, NECO, WASSC, NABTEB, GRADE II, Others
The year you finished from secondary school and grades obtained.
Step 5: Section C: next of kin details like name of next of kin, next of kin phone, relationship with next of kin, and next of kin address
Step 6: Agree to the information you provided if you want your application to be considered.
Step 7: Select a STATE where you would most likely wish to write your APTITUDE test.

Closing Date for Nigeria Police Constable Recruitment 2018
According the the statement, application closes six weeks from the date of this application. Going by the six-week duration, application is expected to close by January 11, 2019.
NPF Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, warns applicant not to use an email and or phone number more than one registration.
“Applicants with multiple applications will be disqualified. The official portal of NPF recruitment and email or telephone numbers of applicants shall be used as means of communication.”
