One of the beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme, a youth empowerment ideas of the APC-led government asked: Will Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stop N-Power Programme if he wins February 23 Presidential election?
He isn’t the person that asked that question, thousands of other volunteers of the programme have also asked. In this post, we’ll tell you the true position of Atiku on N-Power.

Atiku Abubakar who is the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 General Elections had once criticised N-Power of the current administration of the APC-led government of Muhammadu Buhari.
Atiku’s position on APC’s N-Power programme shows that he’s likely to scrap the programme before Mr. Chike Obi came on Channels TV on November 26, 2018, saying Nigerian doesn’t need N-Power.
According to Chike-Obi, Mr Atiku has a more elaborate and comprehensive package to create 3, 000, 000 jobs per year
N-Power programme currently has 500, 000 Nigerian graduates under the FG’s payroll, while there are others under the non-graduate programme.
Since the commencement of the programme, several beneficiaries have shared their success stories, while some of them have started small businesses as a result of savings from their monthly stipend.
Apart from their 30, 000 Naira monthly stipend, each of the beneficiaries (2016 batch) was given a tablet device to help them discharge their responsibilities at their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA).
The 2016 batch of the programme has also been told that they would be migrated to an enhancement programme. instead of going back to the labour market.
