Over the last five months or more incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari has been under heaven criticisms for some of his policies, but her wife is unperturbed rather called on Nigerians to vote for her husband again in the February 16 presidential election.
The first lady told women and youths in Kogi that they should massively vote for Buhari, saying Nigeria will remain safe under his watch.
The First Lady stated this during a town hall meeting organised by the women and youths moblisation arm of President Buhari campaign organisation being coordinated by the Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Hajia Salamatu Umar-Eluma, in Lokoja, the state capital.
Mrs Buhari was represented by the wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osibanjo, at the event which was witnessed by thousands of APC supporters.
Mrs Buhari had in the past criticised her husband on major national issues which earned her accolades from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
At a time she reportedly said might not support the reelection bid of her husband if he (Buhari) failed to adjust some of his policies.
But she seemed to have changed the narrative as February elections draw closer.
