In one of our posts where we did a complete analysis of N-Power enhancement, we told you that it’s like a graduate programme from the job initiative programme of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
If you haven’t seen the post we encourage you to read it talks about the meaning of N-Power enhancement and likely commencement date for the programme. It’s exclusively meant for the 2016 batch of the job initiative.
The office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo which supervises the programme informed 2016 beneficiaries that their tenure which officially came to an end by November 2018 was extended by six month period for the batch A beneficiaries.
The full package of the programme will be made known to volunteers through the #NextLevel engagement.
As a result of that, Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede who is the National Coordinator of N-Power has directed all 37 focal persons spread across the states and FCT, Abuja, to conduct head count exercise for the 2016 beneficiaries to ascertain those who are still active on the programme.
Recalled that Mr. Imoukhuede popularly known as Mr. N-Power by beneficiaries made clear in his last Facebook live chat that volunteers are required to be active in their places of primary assignment.
This year, we got a report from Kaduna State that there was indeed a head count on the 28th of January 2019 for the 2016 N-Power volunteers across the 23 Local Government Areas.
The volunteers were directed to go to the venue of the exercise along with an attestation letter validated by signature and stamp of the Head of their various places of primary assignment (PPAs)
This means that the head count might get to your states any time. No one will inform you when it will reach your state. The secret is for you to report at your PPA everyday as the rules of engagement of N-Power entail.
“Missing an head count may affect your enhancement. Kindly communicate this information to other N-power batch A Volunteers by sharing this update to others so that they can stay informed,” an N-Power blog said.
