Onyedikachi Moses, one of the beneficiaries of N-Power job initiative programme has shared video clip of his large rice plantation in his place of resident.
At InfomediaNG we’re inspired by this and we contacted the N-Power volunteer to get more details on how he was able to achieve so much more with his N30, 000 monthly stipend. We haven’t heard from him
“My Rice farmland as N-agro beneficiary. I prepared the land for this farming season. Thank you
@npower_ng for this initiative.”
N-Power is the job scheme that started in 2016 with 200, 000 beneficiaries while another 300, 000 young unemployed Nigerian graduates were also recruited and onboarded in the 2017 season.
Recently, Vice president Yemi Osinbajo disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government is working out plans in the NextLevel agenda to employ more Nigerian graduates.
NPower has two categories: graduate and non-graduate.
The APC-led government promised that the graduate category which currently has 500, 000 youths will be extended to 1, 000, 000 very soon, this means the N-Power application portal will open for registration.
Apart from that, the government has also been trying to partner with reputable companies in and outside the country.
Just of recent, N-Power disclosed that it’s partnering IBM on how to use technology to expand the horizon of N-Power volunteers, which is believed will assist them in their businesses and being employer of labour rather than job seekers.
