Report from the epicentre of coronavirus Lagos says four more cases have been admitted at the hospital.
At the time of this report, Lagos has the highest number of cases with 130, according to the updated list of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
It was reported that the new cases were admitted a few hours after the inauguration of a 60-bed isolation centre for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos.
Confirming the new patients, LUTH Chairman and the Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) Prof. Wasiu Adeyemo said, “They are part of those already confirmed, but staying at home. Now they are under admission.
Prof Adeyemo stated that the patients were doing well, promising that all the health officials at the centre had received the required training to handle COVI-19 related cases.
