N-Power Shortlists 550,000 Applicants for Batch C Stream 1 For Fingerprint Biometrics

550,000 N-Power Batch C applicants have been shortlisted for fingerprint biometrics and they’ve been posted to the various places of primary assignment across the country.

It was gathered that the 550,000 short-listed applicants were being individually contacted through the e-mail addresses provided by them during the application process.

Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, said this at a press briefing in Abuja while giving an update on N-Power Batch C final list.

The minister said 500,000 will be finally selected nationwide to serve as the first stream of the N-Power Batch C programme.

Similarly, the list for the Batch C stream 2 has been released. You’re advised to proceed with fingerprint biometric capturing.

FG’s Plan for Batch A and B

On the plans of the Federal Government on batch A and batch C during the 2016 and 2017 recruitment process, the minister said that the Central Bank of Nigeria would support Batches A and B beneficiaries who had completed the N-Power programme with soft loans.

She said, “Very soon the CBN will support those of them who have shown interest in one vocational skill programme or small business with soft loans.”

According to her, over 300,000 exited beneficiaries in Batches A and B would receive a loan from CBN.
