Apart from directly forwarding a chat to your contact right on the messaging app, you can also do the same to an email address.

How to email WhatsApp chat on Android Tablet

Step 1:
Launch WhatsApp on your Android device

Step 2: Click the name of the individual contact or group contact from which you want to export to an email address.

Step 3: Tap the three dots on the top right-hand corner and select “MORE”How To Email Whatsapp Messages-infobasecomng

Step 4: Tap on “E-mail Chat” and allow it to load, the load time depends on the chat size.

Step 5: Enter the email address of the recipient and hit send.


How to Email WhatsApp Conversation from iPhone

Step 1: Launch WhatsApp on your iPhone.

Step 2: Open the conversation window by tapping on a name of individual contact or group contacts.

Step 3: On the top of the conversation window, you will see the name of the contact (individual or group), tap on it to show contact Info or Group Info in an interface that appears.

Step 4: Tap on Email Chat and a menu will swipe up from the bottom with two options: Attach Media and Without Media.

Step 5:
Select either option and you will be led to an interface where you can send your WhatsApp conversation to any emails. All you need to do is enter the email address, and the subject is set by default as WhatsApp + contact name/Group name.

Step 6: Click Send on the top right corner then WhatsApp history with all conversation with certain contact or group will be sent to the target email.

How to e-mail WhatsApp chat as a file using Windows Phone (Lumia 535)

Step 1: Open the chat you wish to export.

Step 2: Tap the three dots in the bottom right hand corner > info or group info.

Step 3: Tap the three dots in the bottom right hand corner > email chat history.

Note: You may not be able to email your entire chat history due to Windows Mail size restrictions.

You can also forward WhatsApp chat to an email on other devices, and on your laptop or desktop computers.
