In this guide, we’ll show you how to change or remove your Adsense primary payment method.

Lately, I found out that Savings of my bank no longer receive payment from Google. I had to change my bank.

There’re other reasons why there’ll be need for publishers to change their Adsense payment method.

Major reasons for a Change or Removal of Adsense Primary Payment Method 

The tops reasons are:

1) If the account details you earlier filled isn’t correct i.e if you made mistake either in your name, account number, or the SWIFT Code.

2) If your bank no longer receives Adsense Payment

3) You might also want to change your or remove bank account in your Adsense Payment Method if your bank has a poor custom support.

If you found yourself in any of the stated reasons above, then you need to change your payment method, and remove the previous one.

How To Change or Remove Adsense Payment Method

STEP 1: Sign in to your Adsense Account

STEP 2: Click on SETTINGS in the left navigation menu

STEP 3: Scroll down to click on PAYMENTS

STEP 4: You’ll see the payment method you already added to your account, under it is: Manage Payment Method

STEP 5: Click on Manage Payment Method

STEP 6: You’ll see by the left handside, the account you’ve set as your primary payment method, and by the right handside is: Add Payment Method.

STEP 7: Click on Add Payment Method. In the “Add a payment method” section, enter your bank account information. Fill the necessary details: and click on SAVE.

STEP 8: You now have two accounts: Primary Payment Method is usually by the left while the new one is by the right. There is an option under the newly added account SELECT AS, click on it to set it as your PRIMARY PAYMENT, doing this will automatically bring it to the left.

STEP 9: Find your previous payment method, and click Remove to permanently Delete it from your account.

You’ll receive your payment in your newly added account, but note that you won’t be able to select a form of payment if your earnings haven’t reached the payment method threshold.

Diamond Bank  (Savings Extra)– DBLNNGLA (Customer Support of Diamond Bank is excellent both on the social media and in all the branches across the Nigeria)

Access Bank(Savings) –   ABNGNGLA

ECO Bank (Savings)– ECOCNGLA

First Bank (Savings)– FBNINGLA

UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA,UBA, (Savings) – UBNINGLA

Zenith Bank (Savings) – ZEIBNGLA

We can’t authoritatively confirm First City Monument Bank (FCMB) at the moment.

The rest of Nigerian banks can receive this payment unless you’re operating Domiciliary Account, the requirement of which could be tasking for a starter.
