In April 2020, the Court of Appeal of Nigeria introduced an alternative e-payment for filling of a Court process because of the pandemic
The Acting President of the court Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem stated Court of Appeal REMITA was designed to reduce contact between court officials and legal practitioners filing the appeal during and post COVID-19 era.
She told Presiding Justices of the Court of Appeal in Lagos, Sokoto, Kaduna, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Ilorin, Jos, Owerri, Yola, Makurdi, Calabar, Ekiti, Akure, Benin, Akwa, Asaba, Kano, and Abuja division that filing court process has not only gone digital but faster.

- Payer’s Name and Email Address
- Payer’s Telephone Number
- Select Expense type
- Select method of payment
- Hit submit.
