The APC leader also expressed his ambition to be the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.

Alhassan Ado Doguwa Puts It Into Vote

…and they all said “AIYES”

During the meeting, APC members in the House of Rep overwhelming say “Aiyes” to endorse Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

During the meeting, in a session presided over the House Leader Alhassan Ado Doguwa pointed out the reason why they need to support Tinubu’s ambition to become Nigeria’s president.

He stated that the fact that the former Lagos state governor had supported many Nigerians to become Presidents, Governors, Senators and House of Representatives members, qualifies him to become Nigeria’s president in 2023, stating that “this is the time for you to pay back.”

Doguwa declared that APC House of Representatives members were fully in support of Tinubu’s candidacy

“I want to look at you in the face and tell you that this is the time to pay back. Tinubu has supported many to be Presidents of this country, to be Governors, Senators and members of the House of Representatives. Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no other time to be supported to achieve his life -long ambition than now.

He promised the former senator that the APC caucus will continue to associate with Tinubu for the good of Nigeria, “We are immeasurably grateful. We will support you to achieve your lifelong ambition,” he boastfully said.
