Saskatchewan has sent invitations to 259 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence under the Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry.

NOTE: You will be able to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) if you are eligible under the Occupations In-Demand or Express Entry.

Reports say the latest invitations went to candidates who may be eligible for a nomination from the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

This specifically focused on the International Skilled Worker category from which 136 may be eligible for the SINP’s Express Entry subcategory, and 123 may be nominated through the Occupations In-Demand sub-category.

It’s worth of note that the latest two new draws is a bit fewer than than the previous selection round through Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

Don’t forget that the province uses an EOI system to manage the pool of candidates for the Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories.

Key Requirements

  • Score at least 70 in his EOI
  • Educational Credential Assessments
  • Work experience in one of the 63 in-demand occupations listed on the government portal.

What is PNP?

PNP is  Provincial Nominee Program under the Occupations In-Demand sub-category which is opened to immigration candidates who do not have an Express Entry profile.

This designed specifically for highly skilled workers with experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan.

You can apply for this if you do not yet have a job offer in the province.

To apply for the sub-category, Nigerians and other foreigners need to create an EOI profile through the SINP’s online application portal.
