African Academy of Economics President Nosike to lead AIJMPA Editorial Board
The President of the African Academy of Economics, Lagos, Professor Austin Nosike, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Editorial Board for the ASCON International Journal of Management and Public Administration (AIJMPA).
The high-profile appointment was confirmed in an official letter dated 27 August 2026 by the Director-General of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Dr. Funke Femi Adepoju.
Nosike, Professor of Economics and Management, will hold the position for an initial term of three years, which is renewable by mutual agreement.
According to the institution, his selection reflects the high regard in which his scholarship and extensive professional experience are held within the academic community.
Under the terms of reference outlined in the appointment, Nosike will be responsible for providing strategic governance and oversight of the journal’s editorial board.
His duties include chairing board meetings, advising the Editor-in-Chief on editorial policies and standards, and acting as a global ambassador to enhance the journal’s international visibility and reputation.
Furthermore, the new chairman will support institutional efforts to attract high-quality research submissions from distinguished contributors while safeguarding the core integrity, independence, and ethical standards of the publication.
