How to Use InvestNaija App to Buy Dangote Refinery Shares

The much-anticipated Dangote Refinery IPO opened on Monday, September 14, 2026, with more than 40 investment and fintech apps as official channels to buy shares. One of them is InvestNaija, an investment app owned by Chapel Hill Denham, a stockbrokerage company.

Key points to know: Dangote refinery public offer is 4,100,000,000 ordinary shares of N525 per share. It opened on September 14, 2026. It will close on October 13, 2026. Minimum buy is 10 shares.

For a first-time user who does not know how to use InvestNaija to buy shares, here is a step-by-step guide on how to buy Dangote Refinery shares on the InvestNaija App

Step 1: Download the InvestNaija app from app stores

Step 2: Create an account and complete the required KYC.

Step 3: Log in to your account. On the landing page, you will see “Quick Action”. Good enough, Dangote Petroleum is the first on the page. Alternatively, you can use the feature content section by clicking on “Be part of largest IPO in Africa”. For this guide, we would use the “Quick Action” and select “Dangote Petroleum” to take you to the public offer

Step 4: Click on public offer. Read the introduction and other things you need to know about the IPO. Kindly read the terms very well to be sure it aligns with your investment goals.

 Step 5: Click “Buy Offer” and select the account you are buying for. There is an option to invest for your child. So choose the one that you are buying for. If you choose your child, you will have to input his or her details.

Step 6: On the next page, enter the number of shares you want to buy. The minimum is 10, and you can only buy in multiples of 10, meaning you can’t buy 15, 25, 35; it must be 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc.

Step 7: Click “Continue Purchase” to proceed.

Step 8: Read the details of your buy and proceed to payment. Make payment, wait a few seconds, and your Dangote Refinery shares will appear in your portfolio.

Congratulations, you just own a slice of one of the largest refineries in the World.

NOTE: For first-time investors, trading account details, including CSCS number and Clearing House Number (CHN) will be generated for you.
