Since the Federal government through the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) announced its determination to scale up revenue from non-oil exports, the number of exporters in Nigeria has dramatically increased.
Most of them can be found in the international Business to Business (B2B) marketplace.
Nigeria’s major non-oil exports that could yield billions of US Dollars yearly in revenue include:

Even as applications for export licence in Nigeria can now be obtained in less than 72 business working hours, thousands of Nigerians who are willing to export agricultural products are finding it difficult to find foreign buyers for their products.

Before that, recalled that the Executive Director of NEPC, Mr Olusegun Awolowo in 2020 told major stakeholders in the international trade that Nigeria is diversifying to agric products.
The little attention the government paid to the non-oil sector between 2018/2019 yielded N1.74 Billion in revenue for Nigeria in 2019. And by 2020, there was an increase of 14% as non-oil products brought in N2.07billion for the country.

Alternatively, you want to register your company, obtain NEPC licence and begin your export business
An exporting company is expected to be registered with the CAC and NEPC unless it’s a broker, even brokers do have certificates of operation.
