A look at what each of the 36 federation states contributed to the Value Added Tax and what each received from the FG in 2024 shows that some states received more than they contributed in VAT while some got less than their contributions.

States like Lagos, Rivers, Oyo, and Bayelsa received less than what they contributed. Other states got more than their contributions.
