Meet Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi: The Mind Behind Busha, SEC-Licensed Crypto Exchange

A new name, Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi, has popped up in the crypto space following amended rules by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), mandating that digital asset platforms must be registered and licensed to operate.

This development came after the Nigerian government’s clampdown on cryptocurrency exchange platforms in February 2021, followed by a rule amendment that required all operators in the space to register officially.

As a result, Busha—a crypto exchange platform—became the first digital asset company licensed by the SEC. The platform allows users to buy and sell digital currencies and now offers products similar to those of conventional financial institutions, enabling users to invest in stablecoin pairs and earn interest. So, who is Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi?
