Cryptocurrency enthusiasts who sought the prediction of Bitcoin in August 2022 may have been disappointed after starting the eighth month at $23,336.72 and closing at $20,049.76.
But August isn’t the only disappointing month for BTC. Prices of other coins have not been impressive, anyways because Bitcoin has always set the pace in the crypto sector. A fall in the price of the BTC spells doom for other coins.
For instance, there was a never-before boom in the cryptocurrency market in November 2021 when Bitcoin reached its All-Time High of $68,990.90.
When the bubble busted, Ethereum (ETH), Cardano, Solana, and other coins crumbled leading to nearly trillions of dollars being wiped off of the crypto market.

The highest the BTC reached in August was $24,860.05 (August 13), but slide a bit to close the day at $24,424.07, even at that, it managed to round off the day at $467,007,252,129 of market capitalization.
It traded between $20K to $24K and above. It however experienced the lowest on August 29, trading at $19,600.79, but closed the day at $20,297.99.
According to the available data on CoinMarketCap, the July price was better than in August. It closed at $445,941,074,223 marketcap in July compared to August’s $383,710,102,295.
