It’s no longer news that you must register and get Nigeria’s National Identity Card for security reasons and to enjoy some of the privileges of the government.
Equally, the agency supervising the operations of telecommunication companies the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) vowed to block mobile line not linked to the National Identity Number (NIN).
Apart from NIMC-LGA collaboration, the National Identity Management Commission also certified some private firms to help in the NIMC registration process.
The telecom companies are Airtel, Globacom, MTN, 9mobile. They all received NIN enrolment licence from NIMC. In this post, we’ll share with you accredited Airtel outlets for NIN registration in Nigeria.
What Does The Airtel NIN Enrolment License Mean for Nigerians?
With the approval, Nigerians can now complete their NIN registration process at any accredited Airtel outlet across Nigeria.
The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, who confirmed the partnership hailed the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Pantami, for expanding the registration footprints and for taking definitive steps to smoothen the NIN process as well as ease the burden on Nigerians.
He said:
“Airtel is always seeking opportunities to cooperate and partner with the Nigerian government on initiatives that will make life easier and better for Nigerians.
Ogunsanya stated that Airtel Nigeria is “pleased to partner with the Federal Government and NIMC on citizens’ registration exercise”.
