But the recent ultimatum given by the Federal Government that phone number that isn’t linked to the NIN will be blocked triggered interest of Nigerians whose SIM card risk being cut off from network connection.
Plateau State government can now enrol its residents for the National Identity Number after it secured NIN registration licence from the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
The Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Macham Makut, in a statement on disclosed that the licence is for one year.
It was cheering news that the National Identity Management Commission launched its own app dubbed “MWS: NIMC MobileID (Early Access)” You can use the app to link up to seven SIM cards to your NIN.

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has officially released the list of NIN enrolment centres in Plateau State.
