It was a month characterized by panic selling, which briefly pushed the price below $85K before recovering to $90K. However, BTC struggled to maintain this level and eventually fell below $85K.
During this period, a hack on the Bybit crypto exchange on February 21, 2025, led to a $1.5 billion USD loss in virtual assets. While one might have expected the incident to cause a major stir in the crypto community, Bybit’s crisis management efforts helped minimize the impact on crypto prices.
Even with the volatility, some crypto campaigners such as Robert Kiyosaki say it is the best time to more.
