Netflix is available in 97.44 per cent of countries around the World, representing 190 out of 195. This also means that Netflix is not available in just 2.564% of countries.

Since 2007 when Netflix added online paid streaming of video and other content to its services, the California-based company has extended its services to all countries around the world except in five.
Where Netflix Is Not Available
Before listing Netflix-supported countries, let’s first list the five countries where Netflix is not available. They:
- Crimea
- China
- Syria
- Russia
- North Korea
However, we’ve read on the forum that some citizens of the above countries use VPNs to access Netflix services in their territories.
Note: The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in North Korea may land you in jail. In fact, it is technically impossible to use a VPN in the NK.
Countries Where Netflix Is Now Available
In 2016, when video-subscription service added more than 130 countries around the world, the CEO Reed Hastings who was excited at the time said, “You are witnessing the birth of a global TV network”.
Also at the time, the company’s VP of Engineering Matt Marenghi has tweeted, “
