How to Select NYSC Deployment State from Your Portal

Prospective Corps Members can now login to select their preferred NYSC deployment state from the National Youths Service Corps official portal.

Four options are available, click the drop-down menu to select your first preferred state, and then move to the second stage of deployment.

Note: Your selection from the second option will prompt States in the third, and fourth to automatically load, from which you can select.

For married women:

If as a married female PCM you earlier uploaded your marriage certificate and other details of your spouse for you to be posted within your husband’s vicinity, but states outside your expectations come up in the state of deployment, you’re not alone.

We can confirm that the deployment state is “formality” for married women.

You can simply pick any state, as the state in your spouse data and working place will be used to effect your posting.

Call Up Number:

After selecting deployment state and by ticking {√} the box I agree, hit submission button and your call up number will automatically come up.

Is that simple?

  1. I have that problem. I thought I’d automatically be posted to my husband’s place of domicile, but was surprised when I was asked to still select four states. Someone told me to just select anything, that id still be posted to his vicinity. Please how true is that ?, I don’t want to be far from my son as I just selected anything hoping I’d be posted to his vicinity.

Also, my husband comes home only during Christmas/New year, that’s makes it ones a year. Sometimes twice. He doesn’t work here in Nigeria, hence I couldn’t get a letter from his place of work, I hope that won’t be a problem as well?
But I uploaded every other documents correctly.
    Thank you.

    • Hi Madam,
The states you selected doesn’t matter provided you uploaded the required docs.

You could have come up with a letter to backup your marital claim. NYSC places much importance on that.

Be hopeful that nysc works on the ones you uploaded.
