The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is aware that there could be mistakes in the names of prospective corps members and they’ve given room to make corrections.
Here is the step-by-step guide to making corrections such as name spelling mistake or rearranging your names
- Login into your NYSC dashboard using your username and password
- Choose and click on “Apply for Name Correction” and fill in the required fields
- Then click on “Place Request”
- Click on the submit button
- And wait for approval
NOTE: If you want to add or remove a name, you should reach out to your institution to officially write NYSC for such a request.
Process of requesting name replacement and removal
For marital women, here is the process of requesting for addition, removal, and replacement of name:
- Login into your NYSC Dashboard with your username and password
- Click on “Apply for Name Correction”
- Choose and click on name “Addition/Removal” Option and fill the required fields
- Click on “Place Request”
- Click submit
- Then contact your Students Affairs Officer for necessary actions and wait for final approval
