Also known as Directorate of External Degree Affiliation Programme, the Federal University Oye-Ekiti HND-BSc conversion programme provides a platform for HND holders to get a university degree.
It is designed for HND holders who want to take personal and academic development to end academic stigmatisation at the workplace.
It is also meant for university first-degree holders who earlier graduated with a poor grade and wants to try once again.

What is the tuition fee for FUOYE top-up programme?
Here is the outline of fee you will pay in the first academic year:

What are the admission requirements?
Minimum of five O’Level subjects at credit level not more than two sittings.
Subjects must be relevant to their proposed programmes.
English Language is a must for all candidates.
Credit in Mathematics Is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into Programmes in the Faculties of Engineering, Sciences and Social Sciences.
Minimum of Third Class Honors or Pass degree or HND certificate
NYSC discharge certificate or letter of exemption
Who Is Qualified for the conversion programme?
- University graduates with Pass or Third Class degrees
- HND graduates who want to end academic stigmatisation at the workplace
- Graduates who want a career change, for instance, a graduate of Yoruba wishing to change career to Banking and Finance
Note: Miscellaneous charges are not included in the above HND conversion programme.
What is the basic tuition fee?
The basic tutiton fee is N141,000, however, as a fresh applicant, budget at least N220, 000 as of 2024.
What is the duration of the programme?
Two years of six six semesters
15 weeks per semester
When does lectures hold?
Lectures take place during weekends.
What is the number of courses per each programme?
This depends on your preferred programme. For instance, Microbiology candidates take 13 courses.
We also learnt that Engineering candidates take 10 courses.

Fill in the required fields, including choosing top-up under ‘mode’
Choose your preferred study centre
Click the submit button
The details you filled will be displayed for you to confirm again, if correct, click on ‘Detail confirmed’ to pay a non-refundable fee of Nl5,000 (bank charges not included)
Confirm the content of the next screen by clicking on “Yes” to proceed
Click on re-validation button beside the “yes” button
Wait for the payment page to load, make payment
Present the duly completed form with relevant credentials (original and photocopies) and printed receipt at the Top Up and Conversion Unit, Office of the Vice-Chancellor, FUOYE.
