Admission Requirement FUOYE HND Conversion

  • Minimum of five O’Level subjects at credit level not more than two sittings.
  • Subjects must relevant to their proposed programmes.
  • English Language is a must for all candidates.
  • Credit in Mathematics Is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into Programmes in the Faculties of Engineering, Sciences and Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of Third Class Honors or Pass degree or HND certificate
  • NYSC discharge certificate or letter of exemption

Graduates who want a career change, for instance, a graduate of Yoruba wishing to change career to Banking and Finance

What the cost of FUOYE HND conversion programme?

As a fresh applicant, budget at least N220, 000 as of 2019

Duration:

  • Two years of six:
  • Six semesters
  • 15 weeks per semester
  • Lectures:
  • Lectures take place during weekends.

Number of courses offered

This depends on your preferred programme. For instance, Microbiology candidates take 13 courses. That sounds too much for people who already have HND!

We also learnt that Engineering candidates take 10 courses.

Methods of Application

  • Head straight to FUOYE official portal to create an account
  • Or Pick hard copy forms at FedPoly, Ado-Ekiti or at The Polytechnic Ibadan
  • Pay a non-refundable fee of Nl5,000.
  • Present the duly completed form with relevant credentials (original and photocopies) and printed receipt at the Top Up and Conversion Unit, Office of the Vice-Chancellor, FUOYE.
