A few hours ago, social media was agog about the news of the recruitment of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Owerri branch.

We can authoritatively tell you that CBN, Owerri, is not recruiting. The news was manufactured by some unscrupulous individuals who are all out to defraud unemployed Nigerians.
CBN Owerri Branch has, therefore, come out with statement warning Nigerians to be careful about such fake news aimed at duping them.
“Our attention has been drawn to a message in the social media that the Central Bank of Nigeria Owerri Branch, is recruiting. We wish to inform the public that *CBN Owerri Branch* is not recruiting. Please beware of fraudsters,” CBN Owerri branch said.
