Looted Palliatives: Oyetola Gives Looters 72-hour to Return Materials

Osun State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on Sunday, October 25, 2020, said those who looted the COVID-19 palliatives at Ede have 72-hour grace to return the looted materials or face the full wrath of the law.

The governor spoke during his visit to the warehouse where the palliatives were kept in Ede.

He was at the place forĀ an on the spot assessment of the extent of damage perpetrated by looters in the state on Saturday.

Oyetola state thatĀ those who perpetrated the act have the period of grace to return looted property to either the palace of monarchs within their domain or the Chairmen of their respective council areas.

His order has received thousands of backlash on social media.
