Mercy wins BBNaija Season 4 “PepperDem”

Mercy has emerged the winner of season 4 of the most-watched reality TV show Big Brother Naija dubbed Pepper Demreality smiling home with NGN60 million cash prize.

The host of the show, Ebuka-Obi Uchendu, announced the winner on Sunday, October 6, 2019, to wild cheers from excited supporters, becoming the first female to win the show and joining the list of past winners of BBNaija.

Mercy was among the 26 housemates before others were evicted while Tacha one of the favourites of the competition was disqualified after her physical confrontation with Mercy.

Mercy, Seyi, Omashola and Frodd reach the finals as they battled for the grand price of 60 million Naira.

Drama in the last 90 days

The Pepper Dem was filled with occasional fights, arguments, drama and controversy, to the tasking arena games, Friday night parties, celebrity visits and surprise evictions.

One of the biggest highlights was the shocking disqualification of one of the favourites of the reality TV show, Natacha Akida, popularly known as Tacha.

The 23-year-old was one of the most controversial housemates of the season and was disqualified after she and Mercy got involved in a fight, an act punishable by disqualification.

Tacha had survived back-to-back nominations and even two strikes which had been absolved by biggie, her disqualification sparked various reactions from social media with fans suggesting that Mercy should also have been disqualified.

However, some people felt that Tache was a second offender while Mercy was a first. With Mercy emerging as the season 4 BBnaija show, te PepperDem season has officially come to an end.
