#EndSars: Nigerian Army Announces Exercise Crocodile Smile Nation Wide

The Nigerian Army has announced its readiness to commence exercise crocodile smile nationwide saying it is the first “Cyberwarfare exercise to be conducted in the history of the African Armed Forces”

The announcement is coming a few minutes after Reno Omokri tweeted that there were plans by the military to use force to quench the #EndSars movement across Nigeria.

According to a press release signed by n Ex-Aide of Col Sagir Musa, Acting Director Army Public Relations, the 2020 Exercise CROCODILE SMILE VI will commence in October 20 through 31st of December 2020.

The statement reads, “The Exercise is deliberately intended to be all-encompassing to include cyber warfare exercises designed to identify, track and counter negative propaganda in the social media and across the cyberspace.

“This is the first ever Cyberwarfare exercise to be conducted in the history of the African Armed Forces. Accordingly, the exercise will also include positive identification component aimed at identifying Boko Haram terrorists fleeing from the North East and other parts of the country as a result of the ongoing operations in the various theatres of operations especially in the Northeast, North Central and North Western parts of Nigeria.

The Nigeria Army says the exercise is conducted to “ reassures all well-meaning Nigerians of its commitment to the sustenance of peace and security in Nigeria and urges members of the public for their support and understanding throughout the period of the exercise.”

Reno had tweeted, “I just got privilege information that there is division in the military about how to handle #EndSARS protesters, with Buratai pushing for a Shiite scenario, similarly to the Zaria Massacre. Read my lips Buratai: If that happens, it will be the end of you and General @MBuhari.”
