“Insufficient funds” is a message you see on an ATM or in your online banking app when you don’t have enough money in your account to make a payment or withdraw cash.
Example:
Let’s say you want to buy groceries that cost ₦5,000, but you only have ₦3,000 in your account. If you try to pay with your card, the transaction won’t go through, and you’ll see a message saying “insufficient funds.”
Some banks may even charge a fee if you try to make a payment without enough money in your account.
