“Omo Charlie Champagne” by Simi Ft Adekunle Gold hit airwaves to celebrate Simi’s birthday

Born April 19, 1988, Simisola Ogunleye popularly called “Simi” has dropped another great album to mark her birthday.

Titled “Omo Charlie Champagne” features her king Adekunle Gold. According to Simi, the album is a birthday gift to her admirers around the world.

Simi, with her angel-like voice is heard in one of the tracks dazzling with promise to “stand by you”

“Baby mi I’ll stand by you,” Adekunle in response says, “Edumare losowapo, I won’t make you cry, just know I’ll always be right there, Ole gbekelemi etc.

“Anything you do, I’ll stay by you!

According to Simi, while compiling this album she knew it is for her late Dad Engr. Charles Oladele Ogunleye, who passed in 2014.

“When I was compiling this album, I knew I wanted to dedicate it to my daddy, Engr. Charles Oladele Ogunleye – who passed in 2014. I’m blessed to have come this far. I’m blessed that it was possible for me. I do not take this for granted.

“I couldn’t possibly be more thankful for this journey. To have amazing people like you supporting me everyday is absolute Magic! I love you.

“#OmoCharlieChampgne is OUT NOW!!!! Yessss! I’m thankful to all the amazing people that made this possible.

Simisola “Simi” Ogunleye is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Simi started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008 titled Ogaju
