For the first time, hoodlums had the effrontery to storm the residence of a seating senator and looted all empowerment materials meant for his constituency.
That’s exactly what happened to a Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Teslim Folarin as he counted he losses while speaking for the first time the sad incidence happened in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
In a statement, he said over 1,100 empowerment items such as motorcycles, deep freezers, generators, and grinding machines were some of the things Ibadan residents looted. His house is located at the Oluyole Estate extension in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
He described the attack as coordinated describing it evil, barbaric, unfortunate, and daylight robbery, stating that the invaders were not the same #EndSars protesters, “but coordinated hoodlums.”
Senator Folarin said, “The actions of the hoodlums are condemnable, and it is very disheartening that some bad elements in our society are hiding under the guise of #ENDSARS protests to loot and disrupt peaceful atmosphere in Nigeria.”
He thanked God that there was no fatality during the attack “I thank God we did not record any fatality, despite the violent invasion of my Oluyole house, looting of materials and vandalisation therein.
