With the latest NECO rescheduled examination timetable, Agricultural Science (Practical) and Government (Objectives and Essay) are the first two subjects students will be writing as the National Examinations Council begins on Monday, November 9, 2020.
After postponing the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) two times: 1) during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2) during the #EndSars protest across Nigeria, the examination body says all is set.
Announcing the readiness of the examination body for the SSCE exams, the spokesman of NECO Azeez Sani said:
“Following the return of normalcy in the states and FCT, the examinations will now continue with a new Time-Table from Monday 9th November, 2020 to Saturday 28th November, 2020.”
NECO also announced that the new schedule will be made available to the general public, schools and candidates from November 4.
Sani assured the general public of quality service in the discharge of her statutory responsibilities at all times.
Now, the rescheduled timetable for 2020 June/July Senior School Certification Examination (SSCE) is out:
Start date: Monday, November 9, 2020
End Date: Saturday, November 28, 2020

Here are the most important subjects and dates for papers
- Thursday, November 12, 2020: English Language (Essay and Objectives) and Test of Orals
- Tuesday, November 10, 2020: General Mathematics and General Maths (Essay)
