How to install Google publisher Toolbar

Step 5:

Click the Google Publisher Toolbar icon, to allow access to your account, sign in to the Google Account associated with your account.

From your Chrome window, click the icon in the top right of your browser to view account performance.

This is where you’re likely to encounter a problem. Ordinarily, once you’ve installed the Google Publisher Toolbar, no further action is needed on your part to receive updates to the Toolbar.

If the installation is ok, your adsense performance should display right away. If it shows you code to copy and paste somewhere, then there’s an issue somewhere.

How to correct Google publisher Toolbar Installation Error in Chrome

In a situation where you click on the toolbar icon and what you see is “Copy this code, switch to your application and paste it there” it means there’s error somewhere.

Step 1:

To correct this error, click on option by the top right hand corner

Step 2:

Click on More Tools>Extensions

If “Allow access to file URLS” is unmarked then you’d be seeing error.

To correct the error tick it so as to “allow access to file URLS” after this action the Google Publisher Toolbar will stop showing error or asking you to copy any code.

It should work perfectly well after that.
