Abia state is blessed with seven major natural resources, however, oil/gas is the major focus of the state just the way Nigeria’s economy depends on crude oil. It is one of the oil-producing states in Nigeria, as such, it gets derivation revenue like other states that are blessed with crude oil.
Specifically, one of the natural resources in God’s Own state which is crude oil fetched the state the sum of N4.78 billion as derivation revenue in 2021.
