Apart from Antarctica which is not habitable for humans, South America is the only continent where Nigeria’s National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) doesn’t have an enrolment centre for its National Identification Number (NIN) project.

The enrolment is Nigeria’s project to capture every Nigerian origin into its database wherever they live in around the world.

The enrolment centres are managed by its Front End Partners (FEPs), but setting up an enrolment point in some countries may not be worth the investment for contractors who are handling the project. They are guided by data.
