Understanding Diaspora Enrolment
It is an idea of making sure that Nigerians living outside the shores of the country are captured in the National Identity Database by its diaspora enrolment partners. We already covered the diaspora registration process in one of our publications.
Significance of NIN to Nigerians in diaspora
According to a statement by the commission Nigerians who have no NIN would be unable to renew their passports or take part in some other national programmes.
The foreign NIN registration centres are located in all the continents except South America which has no enrolment centre.
