Rose Orianran-Anthony assumes office as new INEC Secretary

Nigeria’s electoral umpire INEC has announced the appointment of Mrs. Rose Orianran-Anthony as its new Secretary

Independent National Electoral Commission made the announcement via its twitter handle @inecnigeria on December 6, 2018.

According to INEC, Orianran-Anthony until her appointment was the electoral body’s Administrative Secretary in Delta State.

She will be INEC secretary for a four-year term with effect from 6th December, 2018.

Orianran-Anthony hails from Edo State with Bachelor of Arts in Language Arts from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State.

She also holds Masters degree in Public Communications and Public Relations from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom.
