From entertainment to blockchain technology, Brock Pierce is a prominent figure in cryptocurrency.

He founded Internet Gaming Entertainment (IGE) in 2001 and four years later, Pierce disclosed that IGE accounted for about 50 per cent of internet gaming in the United States.

In 2013, he founded Blockchain Capital, a venture capital, that reportedly raised $85 million in two venture funds by 2017.

He would later raise another round of funds using blockchain capital using digital security offerings on blockchain, becoming the first traded security tokens.

Pierce was the former director of Bitcoin Foundation. In 2018, Forbes Magazine named Pierce the “top 20 wealthiest people in crypto” with an estimated net worth between $700 and $1.1 billion.

He is a co-founder of Block.one, the company behind EOS, one of the largest cryptocurrencies on the market.

He has his hands in a lot of blockchain projects and investments. He is also a politician who showed interest in the U.S. presidential election.

With Reeve Collins and Craig Sellars, Brock co-founded Tether Stablecoin (USDT).

Brock is also a big supporter of the nonprofit organization – Dollar Donation Club – an organization that plans to conserve the environment through planting 1 trillion trees, removing ocean plastics, and campaigning against poverty by supporting the vulnerable.
