The Federal government has reopened the application portal for the survival fund to take fresh applications from those who want to benefit from the Payroll Support Scheme.
The survival fund is one of the post-COVID-19 programmes to mitigate the effect of the pandemic on businesses and their owners.
The Payroll Support Scheme is aimed at MSMEs adversely affected by the pandemic. The scheme is providing Payroll Support to a maximum of 10 employees per qualifying MSME.
In a statement in Abuja, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment Mariam Katagum said the payroll support portal will be open from Wednesday, January 27 to February 2 for different categories of businesses.
Businesses that are qualified to apply include educational, hospitality, and other sectors.
Is the application opened to every state?
According to information from Abuja, applications will be welcomed from states that are yet to meet their quota.
States that have met their quota:
Applications will not be entertained from the following states:
States that have not met their quota of beneficiaries:
Beneficiaries form the below 30 states are advised to apply, they are:
- Akwa Ibom
- Cross River
- Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration
- The staff strength of at least 10 persons
- Maximum of 50 of staff
- Business must be Nigerian-owned

- Once you access the portal, register your organisation or business
