FG Launches SME Survival Fund Application Portal

Last updated on September 5th, 2022 at 09:24 pm

The Federal Government has launched a dedicated survival fund to make it easier for Nigerians to apply for loans.

According to Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment Mariam Katagum, the new portal for the Macro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) would accept and track submissions of Stimulus packages for interested small businesses in Nigeria.

The new dedicated survival fund website portal is www.survivalfund.gov.ng, it will become effective from November 1, 2020

Recall that the portal for survival fund registration became operational on September 21, 2020, as one of the moves by the APC-led government to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses.

Announcing the survival fund portal on Saturday, October 31, 2020, the minister said, “The public is further warned not to pay anything for the ongoing formalisation process.”

According to her the stimulus package “is absolutely free,” she said. And you’re advised to steer clear of fake application link circulating on the social media.
