Okafor Uchenna Victor who hails from Anambra state also known as Mr Real is known for his hit track “ Legbegbe”. The song became an instant sensation both at gigs, radio and tv stations. The song is indeed a street song and  “Shaku Shaku” dance steps make  it fun lovers delight.

However , he has remained consistent  and not a one hit song musician. Mr Real keeps working harder to ensure that he is not a flash in the pan  and remain relevant. He has released other hit songs and has collaborated with music artistes like  omawunmi, zoro, ruggedman, idowest cdq to mention but a few.

His first recording ever was with Terry G, “Kakaraka” in 2006. Akin Alabi shot the video  and  the song was released 12 years ago. It turned out not to be a hit but he kept on pushing and doing shows for free.

According to the ‘Legbegbe’ progenitor , he got the inspiration in a place where he went to eat semo and egusi.. ‘Na where I dey chop Semo and Egusi. He  was listening to a random song on his phone and  song just came  and he had  to go into the studio  to record.

“Legbegbe” in English means side by side. And the other lines like “IPhone 1” was just cause he wanted Apple endorsement. That’s why he mentioned iPhone. After releasing this hit making song, he has become the rave of the moment heralding major shows and events like the Headies, Jos Chilling mega fiesta,Warri Again and a host of other shows.

His consistency in the industry so far, is a pointer to the fact that as a music artiste you need to bring on you need to bring to fore your  A-game  and remain consistent so as to remain relevant.
