Music vocalist and song writer Waje{words are not just enough} no longer believes she can soar in the music industry hence she has decided to quit music.

The 38-year-old talented musician reached limelight after providing vocals for the Psquare track, Do Me. Thereafter she delved into the music scene with renditions of mindblowing songs like ‘So Inspired’, ‘For A Minute’ and other songs.

However, her decision to stop doing  music, she says, is a result of the low patronage she got when she released her last album, Red Velvet which did not get the desired rave from music lovers.

“I’m frustrated, I am really tired. I no longer believe that this thing is working. I am respecting in this thing that we do but there is also bowing out when the applause is loudest”,

She was recently viewed in a video on social media expressing herself. “I do not have faith in it anymore. Nobody will say that I have failed or anything. The point is that I am not willing to do this thing anymore. Do you know how much I have invested in this career thing?”

Furthermore, the former globacom Ambassador said she does not have enough money to promote her  music. “I don’t have the money for publicity. My music has been taking the bulk of the money and I am not willing to put money there anymore. I don’t want to be in the class of artistes that have failed. I just think that I have gotten to the point where I don’t think it is working for me anymore.”

Waje has two studio albums to her credit, along with lots of  well rendered singles. She was also a judge on the 2016 season of The Voice Nigeria.
